The SpinsPilot editorial team writes and maintains the site's reference pages for players in Canada outside Ontario and Alberta: how we rate casinos, the guides to licences, payments and bonus terms, the guides by province and territory, and the facts behind each casino page. These pages are kept current over time rather than published once, so they carry the team's name rather than one author's.

Research and fact-checking. Every fact we state comes from a source we name. For a casino, that means its own terms, cashier and payment pages, help centre and site footer, and its licence in the regulator's public register. For rules and help services, it means the official page of the government, provincial lottery corporation, regulator or help line concerned. Third-party sources are always labelled: public complaint sites for the complaints part of the score, and other reviews only where the operator says nothing. Before a page goes live, each fact is checked against the source it came from.

What we do not do. We do not open accounts, deposit or play at the casinos we cover; our pages are written from research. We work from outside Canada, so where something can only be seen from a Canadian connection, such as a casino's cashier, the page says what we could not verify.

Updates. A page is re-checked when one of its sources changes or a reader reports a problem, and its date shows when its facts were last checked.
