BetRepublic at a glance
BetRepublic is an online casino and sportsbook at betrepublic.com that third-party sources date to 2025 or 2026. The site we read is in English and showed amounts in euros to a visitor outside Canada; we found no Canada-specific address. Trustpilot listings show mirror domains for some other markets, but we found none for Canada. This review is written for readers in Canada outside Ontario and Alberta, and every fact below was checked on October 21, 2026 against the source named beside it.
The short version: BetRepublic publishes its terms, and those terms are useful. They print withdrawal limits in Canadian dollars, and the help centre shows Interac e-Transfer. Against that, neither the site nor the terms name the company that runs it, and the responsible-gambling tools we could find are limited to self-exclusion by email.
Key facts
- Website: betrepublic.com (one international site)
- Operator: not named on the site or in the terms. Third-party sources name three different companies (see below).
- Launched: 2025 according to AskGamblers and gambling.com; 2026 according to Casino Guru
- Canadian dollars: CAD has its own row in the withdrawal-limit table of the terms; AskGamblers and Casino Guru list CAD accounts
- Interac e-Transfer: shown in the operator's help centre
- Games: 13,691 games in the lobby on October 21, 2026, of which 10,991 slots; live dealer; sportsbook
- Withdrawal limits: from $750 a day and $10,500 a month at the first VIP level (terms section 6.11)
- Support: live chat and email (support@betrepublic.com) in English, 24/7 according to the help centre
- Not available through SpinsPilot in: Ontario, Alberta
Is BetRepublic legit? The licence question
A licence decides who you can complain to if a withdrawal goes wrong, so it is the first thing to check. BetRepublic's footer reads only "2026 © BetRepublic.com All rights reserved." Section 1.4 of its terms refers to "the Company" without naming it.
Third-party sources disagree about who runs it:
- gambling.com names Zentoria Limited.
- AskGamblers names Volcan Explosions Ventures S.R.L.
- Casino Guru names Casolinia Group as the owner.
Third parties say the licence comes from the Tobique Gaming Commission. We checked the register on October 21, 2026. The Tobique licence holders list does include Volcan Explosions Ventures S.R.L, as a B2C licence holder with an expiry of May 22, 2027, but the list shows no licence number and no website for any holder, so it does not show that BetRepublic runs under that licence.
The same three company names appear in third-party write-ups of Cleobetra, and one third-party site, playcasino.com, says the two casinos share a Tobique licence number. That points to a common group behind both sites, but neither operator confirms it.
So, plainly: we could not confirm which company you would be contracting with. The alternatives section lists casinos whose licence we found in a public register with a current status.
Where BetRepublic is available
SpinsPilot covers Canada outside Ontario and Alberta, which both run their own regulated online markets (Alberta's opened on July 13, 2026). BetRepublic is not offered to readers in Ontario or Alberta through this site.
BetRepublic's terms do not exclude Canada. Section 2.3 lists the excluded jurisdictions as Afghanistan, Belarus, Bulgaria, China, Curaçao, Cyprus, Denmark, Estonia, France, Greece, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Lithuania, Malta, Moldova, Myanmar, Portugal, Romania, Russia, North Korea, the Netherlands, Sweden, Ukraine (including Crimea), the United Kingdom, the United States, Côte d'Ivoire, Armenia, Georgia and the Netherlands Antilles. No province is named: the terms do not exclude Ontario or Alberta, so the exclusion comes from SpinsPilot, not from the operator. No other province is refused. No clause states outright that Canada is accepted, but CAD limits and Interac point that way.
The legal age in your province applies: 19+, or 18+ in Quebec and Manitoba.
Pros and cons
Pros
- Interac e-Transfer shown in the operator's help centre
- Withdrawal limits published in Canadian dollars in the terms
- 13,691 games, including 10,991 slots, plus live dealer and a sportsbook
- KYC rules and deadlines set out in the terms
- 15 complaints across Casino Guru and AskGamblers, with all of those on AskGamblers resolved
Cons
- No operator company shown; three different operator names in third-party sources
- Responsible-gambling tools limited to self-exclusion by email, as far as we could find
- Two Casino Guru complaints describe accounts left open after self-exclusion or gambling-problem requests
- Interac not listed for withdrawals by AskGamblers
- A €5 monthly fee on accounts inactive for 180 days
Bonuses and promotions
BetRepublic advertises a welcome offer for new players, promotions for existing ones and, from its terms, a VIP level system that raises withdrawal limits as you move up. Casino and sportsbook offers can differ, and offers change often by country, currency and the link you arrive from, so we do not print figures in this review. The current Canadian offer, with its wagering requirement and limits, is on our BetRepublic offer page, which is kept up to date separately from this review.
How casino bonuses work at a site like BetRepublic
- Wagering requirement: bonus money has to be bet a set number of times before it can be withdrawn. Check whether the multiple applies to the bonus alone or to the deposit plus the bonus.
- Maximum bet: bonus terms usually cap the stake per spin or hand while a bonus is active. Going over the cap can void the winnings.
- Game weighting: slots usually count in full towards wagering; table and live dealer games often count less, or not at all.
- Expiry: bonus funds and free spins expire if the wagering is not met in time.
- Cashing out early: a withdrawal request while a bonus is active usually cancels the bonus and its winnings.
What BetRepublic's terms add
VIP levels and withdrawal limits. Section 6.11 ties withdrawal limits to five VIP levels. A large win from a bonus is paid out within those limits, so at the first level a big balance comes out over days or weeks rather than at once. The figures are in the payments section below.
Games not available in Canada. Section 15 lists some games as unavailable in Canada, including the Planet of the Apes, Vikings and Street Fighter slots. If a bonus or free spins are tied to a specific game, check that the game is open to Canadian accounts.
Sportsbook offers. The casino and sportsbook share one account. If you plan to bet on the NHL as well as play slots, check whether an active casino bonus restricts sports betting, or the other way round, before you opt in.
Read the bonus terms on the operator's site before you accept an offer, and keep a screenshot. AskGamblers records one case of a withdrawal cancelled after a large win, which is the kind of dispute a saved copy of the terms helps with. If you would rather play without wagering conditions, look for the option to decline the offer when you deposit.
Games and providers
BetRepublic's lobby showed 13,691 games in its "All Games" category on October 21, 2026, of which 10,991 were slots. Game counts change as titles are added and removed, which is why we give the date.
Providers
The operator does not name its providers on the pages we could read. AskGamblers lists around 80, including Playtech, Novomatic, Betsoft, Hacksaw Gaming, Yggdrasil and Red Tiger. Use the provider filter in the lobby to check for a specific studio before you deposit.
Games not available in Canada
Section 15 of the terms restricts some games by country. The Planet of the Apes, Vikings and Street Fighter slots are among those listed as not available in Canada. The lobby you see from a Canadian connection may therefore be smaller than the 13,691 shown to us.
Live dealer
BetRepublic has live dealer games, including a live blackjack category. We did not count the live tables, so we do not give a figure.
Return to player (RTP)
BetRepublic publishes no site-wide or audited payout percentage. Section 8.3 of the terms says only that results come from a random number generator. Check the RTP in each game's own information panel; some studios supply the same slot in versions with different RTP settings.
Sportsbook
The sportsbook covers hockey, soccer, tennis and horse racing, with live betting and virtual sports, in the same account as the casino. We did not research its odds or market depth for this review. If NHL betting is your main reason to sign up, compare it with the sportsbooks on our NHL betting page.
Payments and payout speed
For most Canadian readers the payment question comes before the bonus. BetRepublic's published terms answer part of it.
Methods shown by the operator
The help centre's deposit and withdrawal pages show Visa, Mastercard and Interac e-Transfer (the label is misspelled "Inerac"), without saying which work in which direction. The full cashier list was not readable: the /en/payments address returned an error.
Methods listed by third parties
AskGamblers lists the following, not split by country:
- Deposit: Visa, Mastercard, Interac (variant not named), Skrill, Neteller, Paysafecard, Revolut, bank wire, Rapid Transfer, CashtoCode and Zimpler; crypto: Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum, USDT, XRP, BNB, Cardano, Litecoin, Tron, USDC and Dogecoin
- Withdrawal: Visa, Mastercard, Skrill, Neteller, bank wire, Revolut and Zimpler, plus the same crypto. Interac and Paysafecard are not listed for withdrawals.
gambling.com adds Solana. iDebit, MuchBetter, Flexepin and Neosurf were not seen in any source. InstaDebit, which closed in 2026, and Interac Online, retired in 2024, are not listed.
What this means for a Canadian player
- Interac e-Transfer: shown by the operator, but AskGamblers lists it for deposits only. Before you deposit, ask live chat which methods you can withdraw to, so you are not left choosing between a card and crypto at cashout. See our Interac e-Transfer guide.
- Credit cards: several Canadian banks reserve the right to block gambling transactions or treat them as cash advances, which carry interest and fees. See our Canadian banks page.
- Crypto: available in both directions according to AskGamblers. Crypto transfers cannot be reversed, so check the wallet address and network twice.
Withdrawal limits (terms section 6.11)
The terms set limits in Canadian dollars by VIP level, per day and per month:
- Level 1: $750 a day, $10,500 a month
- Level 2: $750 a day, $15,000 a month
- Level 3: $1,200 a day, $18,000 a month
- Level 4: $1,500 a day, $23,000 a month
- Level 5: $2,300 a day, $30,000 a month
There is no weekly limit. Section 6.13 allows a maximum of three pending withdrawals at once. Section 6.18 marks an account inactive after 180 days without a login and then charges a monthly fee of €5, so withdraw your balance or close the account if you stop playing.
Payout speed
We do not state payout times in our reviews. Processing windows change, and complaint records show they are not always met. The operator's current processing times are on the BetRepublic offer page.
Verification (KYC)
Section 5 of the terms says BetRepublic can ask, on request, for:
- certified ID, such as a driver's licence or passport
- proof of residence
- proof that you own the payment methods you use
- transaction histories, such as bank or card statements
Section 5.2 says documents can be requested "both before and after effecting deposits into your account and/or making a withdrawal". Section 5.3 gives you 30 days to supply them, and says verification usually takes about 10 days once the documents are complete. Sending them early is the simplest way to avoid a withdrawal sitting "under review". A legitimate casino never needs your Social Insurance Number.
Mobile experience
BetRepublic is a website at betrepublic.com, with the casino and sportsbook on the same site. Our research did not include phone testing or app-store checks, so we do not describe how the site runs on a phone and we do not say whether an app exists. These facts hold on any device:
- One account covers the casino and the sportsbook.
- The same terms apply, including the CAD withdrawal limits and the three-pending-withdrawals rule.
- Support runs through live chat and email, both reachable from a browser.
If you plan to play mainly on a phone, check these before you deposit:
- Open the site in Safari or Chrome and confirm that the cashier, the document upload for verification and live chat work on your screen.
- Check that the cashier shows Canadian dollars and Interac e-Transfer for your account.
- Because we found no in-account deposit limits, decide your own budget before you start and look at the spending or gambling-block controls your bank may offer.
- Install a casino app only from the App Store or Google Play, and only if the operator lists one there. Never install one from a link in an email or a chat. BetRepublic uses mirror domains in some other markets, so make sure you are on betrepublic.com.
Player feedback
Complaint sites are the best public record of how a casino behaves when a withdrawal is disputed. We read them on October 21, 2026, and we report patterns and counts, not individual claims, which we cannot verify.
Casino Guru: 8 complaints
Casino Guru lists 8 complaints: 2 unresolved and 4 rejected. They include withdrawals delayed or not paid and two cases of accounts left open after the player had asked for self-exclusion or reported a gambling problem.
AskGamblers: 7 complaints
AskGamblers lists 7 complaints, all marked resolved. Most concern withdrawals stuck "under review" and verification that took weeks. One describes a withdrawal cancelled after a large win.
What the pattern tells you
Fifteen complaints across two sites is a moderate count for a casino this new, and the resolved status on AskGamblers is a point in BetRepublic's favour. The withdrawal complaints match what the terms predict: documents can be requested at any time, verification usually takes about 10 days, and the limits at the first VIP level are $750 a day.
The self-exclusion cases are the more serious finding. Self-exclusion at BetRepublic is a request by email to support (terms section 3.8), and two players report that it did not close their accounts. If you are excluding yourself because gambling has become a problem, keep the casino's written confirmation, and use the support available in your province as well. Our responsible gambling page explains the options.
How we researched this review
This review is written from research, not from play. We did not open an account, deposit or request a withdrawal at BetRepublic. Every fact was read from a public source on October 21, 2026, and the text says where each one comes from.
Sources we read
- The operator: the betrepublic.com terms and conditions (/en/rules), the homepage lobby, the About page and the help-centre deposit and withdrawal pages
- Regulator registers: the Tobique Gaming Commission licence holders list and the Kahnawake Gaming Commission permit-holder list
- Third-party sources (labelled in the text): AskGamblers, Casino Guru, gambling.com and Trustpilot listings for other markets
- Player feedback: the Casino Guru and AskGamblers complaint records
What we could verify
- The terms: excluded jurisdictions, CAD withdrawal limits by VIP level, pending-withdrawal and dormancy rules, KYC requirements and deadlines, game restrictions for Canada, and self-exclusion by email
- Interac e-Transfer, Visa and Mastercard in the help centre
- The lobby counts, live dealer and the sportsbook
- The support channels and the 24/7 statement
- That no operator company appears on the site or in the terms, and that the Tobique list shows Volcan Explosions Ventures S.R.L without a website
What we could not verify
- Which company operates the site
- The full cashier list and which methods work for withdrawals, because the payments page returned an error
- The Responsible Gaming page, which loaded without its text, so we could not confirm whether any limit tools exist beyond self-exclusion
- Whether a Canada-specific mirror domain exists
Bonus figures and payout times are left out of the review on purpose; they are kept on the offer page, where they can be updated as they change. How the rating is built is explained on how we rate casinos, and how SpinsPilot is paid is on our affiliate disclosure.
Best alternatives to BetRepublic
If the unnamed operator or the thin limit tools hold you back, these casinos from our list are clearer on one or both. Each was checked on October 21, 2026.
Tonybet
Tonybet's operator, Osauhing Tonybet, appears on the Kahnawake Gaming Commission's list of interactive permit holders with a dedicated Canadian site, tonybet.com/ca (the list is dated September 28, 2023). Third-party sources list CAD accounts, Interac, deposit limits and session controls, and the casino and sportsbook share one account, as at BetRepublic. tonybet.com is not available in Ontario or Alberta. See the Tonybet offer.
iWild
iWild names its operator, Goodwin N.V., and its Curaçao licence, OGL/2024/758/0228, shows as active in the regulator's register. Its terms offer deposit limits and permanent self-exclusion. The trade-offs: no CAD accounts, Interac not confirmed, no sportsbook and a general withdrawal limit of US$1,000 a day. See the iWild offer.
Verde Casino
Verde's licence, OGL/2024/686/0183 held by Wiraon B.V., is in the Curaçao register, although its renewal shows "Assessment in progress". Third-party sources list CAD accounts; one lists Interac and another does not. See the Verde offer.
Your provincial site
Most readers already have an account with their province: PlayNow in British Columbia, Manitoba and Saskatchewan, lotoquebec.com in Quebec and alc.ca in the Atlantic provinces. These sites are run by provincial lottery corporations, pay in Canadian dollars and offer their own limit tools. Their lobbies are smaller and their promotions fewer, and that is the trade-off most readers are weighing. For a wider comparison, see our list of best casinos.
Overall verdict
BetRepublic is more open about its rules than about itself. Its terms are published and specific: excluded countries, CAD withdrawal limits by VIP level, KYC deadlines and a dormancy fee are all in writing. It shows Interac e-Transfer, has a lobby of 13,691 games with a sportsbook in the same account, and its complaint record is moderate for a casino of its age.
What it does not tell you is who runs it. No company or address appears on the site or in the terms, and third parties name three different companies. The responsible-gambling tools we could find are limited to self-exclusion by email, and two players report that it did not work.
Our rating: 3.6 out of 5
SpinsPilot scores every casino on the same seven criteria. BetRepublic's breakdown:
- Licence: 0.3 of 1.2
- Interac: 0.8 of 0.8 (named in the operator's help centre)
- CAD account: 0.6 of 0.6 (CAD limits in the terms; CAD accounts listed by third parties)
- Provinces: 0.5 of 0.5 (no province refused in the terms)
- Responsible-gambling tools: 0.4 of 0.6 (self-exclusion only, as far as we could find)
- Support: 0.5 of 0.5 (live chat in English, stated as 24/7)
- Complaints: 0.5 of 0.8 (moderate)
Who it suits
BetRepublic suits a player who wants casino and NHL betting in one CAD account, deposits by Interac, reads the terms and can live with the first-level limit of $750 a day. It does not suit anyone who needs deposit or time limits from the casino itself; start with the alternatives above.
Whichever casino you choose, set a deposit limit before you play and treat gambling as paid entertainment, not as income. If it stops being fun, our responsible gambling page explains the support available in your province. 19+ (18+ in Quebec and Manitoba).
