GGBet at a glance
GGBet is a sportsbook, esports book and online casino. For Canada it runs a dedicated site, ggbet.ca, in Canadian English and Canadian French, operated by MJMotion Ltd of Saint Lucia. This review is for readers in Canada outside Ontario and Alberta. It is written from research, not from play: every fact below was checked on October 21, 2026 against the source named beside it, and we did not open an account or place a bet.
Key facts
- Website: ggbet.ca (Canadian site, English and French). The international brand runs at gg.bet
- Operator: MJMotion Ltd, registration 2025-00817, La Place Creole Building, Rodney Bay, Gros-Islet, Saint Lucia. Payments agent: Zenvorix Ltd, Limassol, Cyprus
- Licence: Tobique Gaming Commission, No 0000133, according to the site footer. The Commission's licence-holder list shows MJMotion Ltd with a licence valid to January 15, 2027, but no licence numbers or domains
- Provinces refused in the terms: New Brunswick and Ontario (section 1.4, updated September 18, 2026). SpinsPilot also does not cover Alberta
- Canadian dollars: listed by Casino Guru (third-party); the site we were served showed euros
- Interac: Interac e-Transfer listed by Casino Guru (third-party); the operator's payment policy names no methods
- Games: sportsbook and esports, casino slots and a live casino; no game count published
- Support: "Support 24/7" in the footer, live chat and email (support@gg.bet), English and French
- Age: 19+, or 18+ in Quebec and Manitoba
- Our rating: 2.8 out of 5
Is GGBet legit? The licence
The footer of ggbet.ca says the site is operated by MJMotion Ltd under licence No 0000133 from the Tobique Gaming Commission, a regulator of the Tobique First Nation in New Brunswick. That is a specific claim you can check, and we did. The licence-holder list on the Commission's website, thetgc.ca, shows MJMotion Ltd as a B2C licence holder with a licence valid to January 15, 2027. The list does not show licence numbers or domains, so we cannot tie licence 0000133 or ggbet.ca to that entry.
Review sites often describe a different GGBet. Casino Guru lists the brand under River Entertainment B.V. and Curaçao licence OGL/2024/688/0234. That appears to be the company behind the international gg.bet site, not the one named on ggbet.ca. In the Curaçao Gaming Authority's register dated October 20, 2026, that licence's printed term ended on April 14, 2026 and its status reads "Assessment in progress". MJMotion Ltd's registration number begins with 2025, which suggests a recent company, although Casino Guru dates the brand to 2016.
So, plainly: the operator named on ggbet.ca, MJMotion Ltd, is on the Tobique Gaming Commission's licence-holder list with a current licence, but the list does not show which domains that licence covers.
Where GGBet is available
Section 1.4 of the ggbet.ca terms lists the Canadian provinces of New Brunswick and Ontario among its "Excluded Jurisdictions", whose residents may not open accounts or deposit. The same list appears in section 6.10 of the AML and KYC policy. Alberta is not excluded by GGBet, but SpinsPilot does not cover Alberta or Ontario, which run their own regulated markets. If you live in New Brunswick, GGBet is not open to you.
Pros and cons
Pros
- A dedicated Canadian site in English and French, with the operator's name and address in the footer
- Deposit, loss and session limits in the account, with a 24-hour wait before an increase takes effect
- A sportsbook with esports and a live casino in one account
- Support stated as 24/7, in English and French
Cons
- The Tobique register lists the operator but no licence numbers or domains, so ggbet.ca cannot be tied to the licence
- New Brunswick residents are refused, as well as Ontario
- Interac and CAD accounts are confirmed by third-party data only
- Casino Guru lists 443 complaints for the GGBet brand
Bonuses and promotions
The ggbet.ca homepage shows a welcome banner aimed at Canadian players, and GGBet, like most sportsbooks with a casino, runs separate offers for sports and casino play. We do not print offer amounts, free-spin counts, wagering multiples, minimum deposits, maximum bets or expiry dates in this review. Those terms change, and they can depend on which product you choose at sign-up. The current Canadian offer and its terms are on our GGBet offer page, the one place we keep them.
Sports offer or casino offer
At a site that is sportsbook first, the choice at sign-up matters. A sports offer usually comes with a minimum odds rule, for example that each selection must be priced at -200 (1.50) or longer, and a casino offer usually comes with a wagering requirement on slots. Those are examples of how such rules are written, not GGBet's terms. In most cases you can take only one welcome offer, so decide which product you will use before you opt in. Our guides to sports betting bonuses and welcome bonuses explain both types.
A deposit rule that applies with or without a bonus
One term on ggbet.ca is not about bonuses at all, and it is easy to miss. Section 4.10.3 of the terms and section 3.14.10 of the payment policy say a deposit must be staked at least once before it can be withdrawn, and that a 20% fee may apply if you withdraw after staking less than twice the deposit. In practice, do not deposit money you expect to withdraw unplayed. We quote these rules as published on October 21, 2026.
How to read any GGBet offer
- Wagering: bonus money has to be bet a set number of times before it can be withdrawn. Check whether the multiple applies to the bonus alone or to the deposit plus the bonus. As a worked example only, a $100 bonus at 35x means $3,500 in bets. Our wagering requirements guide goes through the arithmetic.
- Minimum odds: sports offers often count only bets above a set price, so short-priced favourites may not count.
- Maximum bet: casino bonus terms usually cap the stake per spin while a bonus is active; going over the cap can void the winnings.
- Game weighting: slots usually count in full; live and table games often count less, or not at all.
- Expiry: unmet wagering usually expires with the bonus.
Games, live casino and sportsbook
GGBet does not publish a game count. The ggbet.ca homepage shows slots from Pragmatic Play, Endorphina, Playson, Spinomenal, Betsoft, Evoplay, Gamomat and Amigo Gaming, among others. Casino Guru (third-party) counts 84 providers for GGBet, including Evolution, NetEnt, Nolimit City and Hacksaw Gaming, but its data covers the international brand and may not match the Canadian lobby.
Live casino
ggbet.ca has a Live Casino section. We could not see which studios supply it on the Canadian site, the table limits, or whether any tables run in French. Live games usually count less towards bonus wagering than slots, or not at all.
Sportsbook: NHL betting at GGBet
Sports and esports are GGBet's main product, and the casino sits beside them. We have not placed bets or recorded GGBet's prices, so we do not rate its margins or say how many NHL markets it carries. What follows is how to judge any book on hockey, starting with the markets most Canadian bettors use.
- Moneyline: pick the winner, overtime and shootout included. A favourite at -150 (1.67) returns $16.67 profit on a $25 stake; an underdog at +130 (2.30) returns $32.50.
- Puck line: the hockey spread, usually 1.5 goals. The favourite at -1.5 might be priced +165 (2.65) and the underdog at +1.5 around -200 (1.50). Our puck line guide explains when each side makes sense.
- Totals: over or under a goal line, often 5.5 or 6.5, typically priced near -110 (1.91) on each side.
- 60-minute line: a three-way market on regulation time only, with the draw as a third outcome. The same team can win the moneyline and lose a 60-minute bet, so check which rule a market uses.
- Parlays: several selections combined into one bet, all of which must win. See our parlay guide.
The prices above are examples to show how the formats work, not GGBet's odds. We have not confirmed whether ggbet.ca can display American odds; if it shows decimal only, our odds formats guide converts between them. The payment policy caps the maximum winning at USD 50,000 per ticket, which matters for large parlays. For hockey markets and how to compare books, see our NHL betting guide and the sports betting section.
Published RTP
We found no site-wide or audited payout percentage for GGBet. Use the RTP in each game's information panel. Some studios supply the same slot in versions with different RTP settings, so a figure printed elsewhere may not match the version a casino runs.
Payments and payout speed
We could not read GGBet's cashier, which opens only after sign-up, and the ggbet.ca payment policy describes rules rather than naming methods. The site we were served also showed euros. So the payment methods below come from Casino Guru (third-party), whose list is not split by country, and the rules come from the operator's own policies.
Methods listed by Casino Guru
- Interac: Interac e-Transfer, plus a second Interac entry whose variant is not named. Our Interac e-Transfer guide explains how casino transfers work.
- E-wallets: MuchBetter, MiFinity, Jeton, AstroPay and Binance Pay
- Bank transfer
- Crypto: Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, USDT, USDC, Dogecoin, Tron, Toncoin and BNB
Visa and Mastercard are not on Casino Guru's list, although section 3.14.4 of the payment policy mentions card deposits and says that where card rules do not allow pay-outs, Mastercard for example, a withdrawal may be paid by another method. If you plan to deposit by card, see our Canadian banks guide: several banks block gambling on credit cards or treat it as a cash advance. iDebit, Paysafecard and Flexepin are not listed. InstaDebit closed in 2026 and Interac Online was retired in 2024, so neither is an option.
Account currency
Casino Guru lists CAD. Section 4.7 of the terms says GGBet does not convert currencies and that a change of account currency goes through support. Choose CAD at registration if it is offered, and check the currency before your first deposit: on a euro account, your bank converts every deposit and withdrawal, usually with a fee.
Payout speed and limits
We do not state a payout time for GGBet. We could not read a published one from the operator, and third-party processing times are not a reliable basis. A confirmed figure, when we have one, will be on the GGBet offer page. These limits are published by the operator, as read on October 21, 2026:
- a maximum payout of EUR 50,000 per day (payment policy)
- a maximum winning of USD 50,000 per ticket (payment policy)
- "predetermined weekly and monthly limits" on withdrawals (terms, section 4.10.1), with the amounts not printed
- each deposit staked at least once before withdrawal, with a possible 20% fee below twice the deposit (terms, section 4.10.3)
Verification (KYC)
Section 6.2 of the AML and KYC policy sets verification at whichever comes first: 30 days after your first deposit, total deposits of EUR 2,000, or your first withdrawal. The documents named are:
- photo ID: a passport, driver's licence or national ID card
- a photo of your payment card, with the middle digits and the CVV covered
- a photo of you holding your documents with a handwritten code
- where needed, a bank statement, an employer letter, a tax bill or proof of address such as a utility or phone bill
Pending withdrawals can be held until verification is complete, and repeat document requests are one of the complaint patterns below, so verify early. A legitimate casino never needs your Social Insurance Number.
Mobile experience
We did not test ggbet.ca on a phone or check app stores for this review, so we do not rate its mobile layout or say whether an app exists. What does not depend on the device:
- ggbet.ca is a full website in English and French, and one account covers sports, esports and the casino.
- Limits can be set in the account or through support, according to section 9.2 of the terms.
Before you deposit from a phone:
- Check the address. Use ggbet.ca for the Canadian site. gg.bet is the international site, which review sites link to a different company. Do not follow links in ads or messages.
- Check the currency in the mobile cashier before your first deposit.
- Prepare the document photos. The KYC policy asks for a photo of you holding your ID with a handwritten code, which is easiest with a phone camera in good light.
- Set limits first. Deposit, loss and session limits are in the account; set them before your first bet, not after.
- Apps: install one only from the App Store or Google Play, and only if the operator lists one there.
Player feedback
Complaint sites are the main public record of how a casino behaves when a withdrawal is disputed. We read Casino Guru on October 20 and 21, 2026. We report counts and patterns, not individual claims, which we cannot verify.
Casino Guru: 443 complaints
Casino Guru lists 443 complaints for GGBet, most of them rejected by Casino Guru after review. The count covers the GGBet brand across its markets, not only ggbet.ca, and a brand with a large sports and esports customer base collects more complaints than a small casino. Even allowing for that, it is a heavy record. The recurring themes:
- Delayed withdrawals
- Winnings confiscated, often after the operator alleges bonus abuse or multiple accounts
- Deposits not credited
- Accounts closed for alleged bonus abuse or duplicate accounts
- Repeat KYC requests before a payout
What the pattern tells you
Most themes concern getting money out after a dispute about the account. Three habits reduce that risk: keep to one account and do not share payment methods with another player; complete verification before you request a withdrawal; and read the bonus terms before you opt in, with a screenshot of what you accepted.
Customer support
The ggbet.ca footer says "Support 24/7". Support runs through live chat and email at support@gg.bet, in English and French, and the terms route account changes through live chat. We have not contacted support and do not rate response times.
If something goes wrong
Put complaints in writing so they carry a timestamp, and save chat transcripts. The licence named on the site is from the Tobique Gaming Commission, whose website, thetgc.ca, has a Complaints section. Independent services such as Casino Guru are a second route. If gambling has stopped being fun, our responsible gambling page lists help for every province and territory we cover.
How we researched this review
This review is written from research, not from play. We did not open an account, deposit or place bets at GGBet. Facts were gathered on October 20 and checked again on October 21, 2026.
Sources we read
- ggbet.ca: homepage, terms and conditions (updated September 18, 2026), payment policy, AML and KYC policy, and responsible gaming page. gg.bet returned an access error from our location, so ggbet.ca is our operator source
- Tobique Gaming Commission licence-holder list (thetgc.ca, checked October 21, 2026): MJMotion Ltd, B2C, valid to January 15, 2027; no licence numbers or domains shown
- Curaçao Gaming Authority register (dated October 20, 2026): the row for OGL/2024/688/0234, River Entertainment B.V.
- Casino Guru GGBet review (third-party): payment methods, currencies, providers, launch year and complaints
What we could verify
- The operator, address and payments agent printed on ggbet.ca
- The excluded provinces, New Brunswick and Ontario, in the terms and the AML and KYC policy
- The limit tools, the 24-hour cooling-off rule and the self-exclusion options in the terms
- The withdrawal rules and caps in the payment policy and terms
- The KYC triggers and documents
- That MJMotion Ltd is on the Tobique Gaming Commission's licence-holder list, valid to January 15, 2027
- That the Curaçao licence quoted by Casino Guru belongs to a different company and shows "Assessment in progress"
What we could not verify
- That licence 0000133 covers ggbet.ca, because the Tobique list shows no licence numbers or domains
- The Canadian cashier: Interac, other methods and CAD
- The weekly and monthly withdrawal limits, which the terms do not print
- A game count and the live casino studios
- Whether the sportsbook shows American odds
- Payout times and the current offer, which we keep on the offer page by design
We will read the cashier from a Canadian connection, then update this review and its score. Our method is on how we rate casinos, and how SpinsPilot is paid is on our affiliate disclosure.
Alternatives to GGBet
If a licence that cannot be tied to ggbet.ca or the New Brunswick exclusion rules GGBet out, these brands from our Canadian list combine a casino with a sportsbook and hold a licence we found in a public register with a current status. Each was checked on October 21, 2026.
Tonybet
Casino and sportsbook in one account. Osauhing Tonybet and the address tonybet.com/ca are on the Kahnawake Gaming Commission's list of permit holders (dated September 28, 2023), and Ontario and Alberta players are served on separate regulated sites. Third-party sources list CAD accounts and Interac. AskGamblers lists 22 complaints over about ten years, mostly about payments. See the Tonybet offer page or our Tonybet review.
Thor
Casino and sportsbook, licensed in Anjouan, with thorcasino.com on the licence's domain list and an expiry date of January 30, 2027. Third-party reviews count about 6,000 titles from about 63 providers and describe 24/7 live chat. AskGamblers lists two complaints, both resolved. Interac is listed for deposits but not for withdrawals by AskGamblers. See the Thor offer page or our Thor review.
Irwin
Casino, sportsbook and esports, run by Galaktika N.V. under Curaçao licence OGL/2024/169/0146, which the Curaçao Gaming Authority's validator shows as active for irwin.casino. Its terms quote limits in Canadian dollars, and the operator says it carries more than 7,000 games from over 70 providers. Interac is unconfirmed: one Canadian third-party review lists it and another does not. Casino Guru lists 14 complaints. See the Irwin offer page or our Irwin review.
Your provincial site
Most readers can also play and bet with their province: PlayNow in British Columbia, Manitoba and Saskatchewan, lotoquebec.com in Quebec, and alc.ca in the Atlantic provinces, which include New Brunswick. These sites are run by provincial lottery corporations, pay in Canadian dollars and also offer provincial sports betting. All our Canadian reviews are on the casino reviews page.
Overall verdict
GGBet's Canadian site is more open about who runs it than many offshore brands: the operator, its address and a licence number are in the footer, and its terms and policies are specific. It combines a sportsbook and esports with a casino, and its account limit tools are fuller than at many offshore sites.
What holds it back is verification and track record. The Tobique register confirms the operator but not the domain, the terms refuse New Brunswick as well as Ontario, Interac and CAD rest on third-party data, and the GGBet brand has a heavy complaint record on Casino Guru, much of it about withdrawals and account closures.
Licence and safety
ggbet.ca states Tobique Gaming Commission licence No 0000133, held by MJMotion Ltd. The Commission's licence-holder list shows MJMotion Ltd with a licence valid to January 15, 2027, but it lists no licence numbers or domains, so we score it as an operator in the register with a current licence and no domain shown. The Curaçao licence that review sites quote for GGBet belongs to River Entertainment B.V., the international company, and its renewal is in assessment.
Responsible gambling
Section 9.2 of the terms offers deposit limits by day, week or month, loss limits and session limits, set in the account or through support, with any increase applied only after a 24-hour cooling-off. Self-exclusion can be indefinite or permanent. Reality checks are not mentioned. Set a limit before your first deposit. Help lines for every province and territory we cover are on our responsible gambling page, and our self-exclusion guide explains the options beyond a single site.
How the score is built
Every Canadian casino is scored on the same seven points, using facts checked on October 21, 2026:
- Licence: 0.6 of 1.2 (operator on the Tobique register with a current licence; the register lists no domains)
- Interac: 0.5 of 0.8 (third-party source only)
- Canadian-dollar account: 0.3 of 0.6 (unclear: third-party only, and the site we saw showed euros)
- Provinces: 0.3 of 0.5 (New Brunswick refused, beyond Ontario and Alberta)
- Responsible gambling tools: 0.4 of 0.6 (deposit, loss and session limits and self-exclusion; no reality check)
- Support: 0.5 of 0.5 (24/7, live chat in English and French)
- Complaints: 0.2 of 0.8 (heavy: 443 on Casino Guru for the brand)
Total: 2.8 out of 5.
Who it suits
GGBet suits a bettor outside New Brunswick who wants NHL and esports markets with a casino in the same account, is comfortable with a licence register that names the operator but lists no domains, confirms Interac and CAD in the cashier before depositing, and verifies the account early. If a licence that lists the casino's own domain matters more to you, start with the alternatives above. The current offer is on the GGBet offer page. 19+ (18+ in Quebec and Manitoba). Not available through SpinsPilot in Ontario or Alberta, and not open to New Brunswick residents under GGBet's own terms.
GGBet FAQ
Is GGBet legit?
ggbet.ca names its operator, MJMotion Ltd of Saint Lucia, and states Tobique Gaming Commission licence No 0000133. MJMotion Ltd is on the Commission's licence-holder list with a licence valid to January 15, 2027, but the list shows no licence numbers or domains, so we cannot tie licence 0000133 or ggbet.ca to it.
Does GGBet accept Interac?
Casino Guru lists Interac e-Transfer for GGBet. The operator's payment policy names no methods, so check the cashier after you register and before you deposit.
Can I use GGBet in New Brunswick?
No. Section 1.4 of the ggbet.ca terms lists New Brunswick as an excluded jurisdiction, so residents may not open accounts or deposit.
Does GGBet have a promo code?
The current Canadian offer, and whether it needs a code, is on our GGBet offer page. We list a code only when one exists for Canadian players.
