Casinostars at a glance
Casinostars is an online casino at casinostars.io. Do not confuse it with casinostars.com, which forwards to PokerStars Casino, a different operator. This short review is for readers in Canada outside Ontario and Alberta. It is written from research, not from play, and every fact was checked on October 21, 2026.
The site is a script-rendered app, and its content service refused our requests, so we could not read the terms, the verification policy or the responsible gambling page. We checked the licence ourselves in the Anjouan register; other facts come from third-party reviews and are labelled.
Key facts
- Website: casinostars.io (not casinostars.com)
- Operator: named three ways across sources (see below)
- Licence: Anjouan ALSI-202601043-FI2, valid until January 30, 2027, with casinostars.io on its domain list
- Canadian players: likely accepted, not confirmed in the terms
- Canadian dollars: listed by Casino Guru and AskGamblers
- Interac: listed by AskGamblers for deposits only, variant not named
- Games: 10,000+ with live dealer tables; no sportsbook (third-party)
- Support: 24/7 live chat and email; English and French among the languages (third-party)
- Launched: 2024 (third-party)
- Not available through SpinsPilot in: Ontario, Alberta
- Age: 19+, or 18+ in Quebec and Manitoba
- Our rating: 4.2 out of 5
Is Casinostars legit?
The site has a licence you can match to it, but the name of the company behind it is less clear. Here is exactly what the Anjouan licence register showed on October 21, 2026:
- Wild Blackfin Limited SRL, licence ALSI-202601043-FI2, B2C, status "valid", issued January 31, 2026, expiring January 30, 2027. casinostars.io is one of its 35 listed domains, alongside artcasino.io and thorcasino.com.
- MOONSEEKER SRL, licence ALSI-202509006-FI1, status "valid", issued September 16, 2025, expiring September 15, 2027. This is the licence Casino Guru and AskGamblers quote for Casinostars, but casinostars.io is not among its seven listed domains.
Older reviews also name Versus Odds B.V. with a Curaçao licence, probably an earlier operator. We could not check that claim. We score the licence on the register row that lists the domain. Which company you contract with should show in the site footer and terms, which we could not read.
Pros and cons
Pros
- An Anjouan licence in the register that lists casinostars.io
- CAD accounts and Interac deposits, according to third-party reviews
- 10,000+ games from studios such as NetEnt, Pragmatic Play and Evolution
- 24/7 live chat, with French among the support languages
Cons
- Operator named differently by the register and by review sites
- Interac listed for deposits only
- Casino Guru complaints centre on denied or confiscated winnings
- Casino only, no sportsbook
Bonuses and promotions
Third-party reviews show a Canadian welcome offer in Canadian dollars, and LCB quotes it as not available to players living in Ontario. That clause covers the offer, not the site. We do not print offer amounts, free-spin counts, wagering multiples, minimum deposits, maximum bets or expiry dates in our reviews. The current Canadian offer, and any promo code, is on the Casinostars offer page.
How to read the offer
- Wagering: as a worked example only, a $100 bonus at 35x needs $3,500 in bets before withdrawal. Our wagering requirements guide explains the maths.
- Maximum bet: a stake cap usually applies while a bonus is active, and going over it can void the winnings.
- Withdrawal caps: player reviews complain about weekly withdrawal caps on large wins. Read the cashier terms before you play for a large balance.
Keep a dated screenshot of the terms you accept. You can also deposit without a bonus.
Games and providers
Third-party counts put the lobby at over 10,000 games (webopedia) or 11,000+ (cryptomaniaks), and Casino Guru counts 77 providers. The studios named include NetEnt, Pragmatic Play, Play'n GO, Playtech, Evolution, Hacksaw Gaming, Nolimit City, BGaming and Betsoft. Live dealer tables are available. Game availability can differ by country, so check that a title opens on a Canadian account before you rely on it.
Casinostars is a casino only; webopedia describes it as exclusively an online casino. If you also want sports betting, our sports betting section covers the sportsbooks on our list. We found no published site-wide RTP; use the figure in each game's information panel.
Payments and payout speed
We could not read the cashier. The lists below are from AskGamblers (third-party) and are not split by country.
- Deposits: Interac (variant not named), iDebit, Visa, Mastercard, Neosurf, Skrill, Neteller, MiFinity, Jeton, Payz, Revolut, Google Pay, Apple Pay, AstroPay, CASHlib and bank wire; crypto including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, USDT, USDC, Solana and XRP
- Withdrawals: Visa, Mastercard, iDebit, Skrill, Neteller, MiFinity, Jeton, Payz, Revolut, AstroPay, bank wire, Bitcoin, Ethereum and XRP. No Interac
So Interac is a way in, not a way out, according to both AskGamblers and cryptomaniaks. Plan a withdrawal method before you deposit. Some third-party lists still show InstaDebit, which closed in 2026, and one shows Interac Online, retired in 2024; neither is an option. Our Interac e-Transfer guide and Canadian banks guide cover the Canadian side.
Payout speed, limits and verification
We do not state a payout time or withdrawal limits for Casinostars; neither could be read in the operator's terms. A confirmed payout time, when we have one, will be on the Casinostars offer page. Webopedia says ID and proof of address are needed before a withdrawal, and LCB says source-of-funds checks can apply at higher amounts. Upload documents early. A legitimate casino does not need your Social Insurance Number.
Mobile experience
We have not seen Casinostars on a phone, and none of our sources records a dedicated app, so we do not rate its mobile design. On a phone, type casinostars.io in full: casinostars.com belongs to a different operator. Install an app only if the operator lists one in the App Store or Google Play. Before your first deposit, check that Interac shows in the cashier, that a withdrawal method you can use is listed, and that the limit settings are easy to reach.
Player feedback
Casino Guru lists 17 complaints against Casinostars, 14 rejected and 3 resolved (read October 21, 2026). We report patterns, not individual claims:
- winnings denied or confiscated
- accounts closed with balances held
- slow or unresponsive support
Player reviews also repeat complaints about weekly withdrawal caps on large wins. The count is moderate for a brand third parties date to 2024, but the theme is money held back, so verify early, read the withdrawal terms and withdraw regularly.
Customer support
Third parties list 24/7 live chat, email at support@casinostars.io and Telegram. Casino Guru counts seven support languages, including English and French. We have not contacted support. Help lines for every province and territory we cover are on our responsible gambling page.
How we researched this review
This review is written from research, not from play. We did not open an account, deposit or request a withdrawal. Facts were checked on October 21, 2026.
Sources we read
- Anjouan licence register (read October 21, 2026): the Wild Blackfin Limited SRL and MOONSEEKER SRL rows and their domain lists
- Casino Guru and AskGamblers (third-party): operator, currencies, payment methods, providers, support, complaints
- webopedia, LCB and cryptomaniaks (third-party): earlier operator, verification, responsible gambling tools, games, offer-level Ontario clause
What we could not verify
- Which company runs the site today; the footer could not be read
- The earlier Curaçao licence claim
- The terms: accepted countries, refused provinces, withdrawal limits
- The cashier and the responsible gambling page
- The current offer, which we keep on the offer page by design
Our method is on how we rate casinos, and how SpinsPilot is paid is on our affiliate disclosure.
Alternatives to Casinostars
If the operator question or the deposit-only Interac holds you back, these brands on our Canadian list hold licences we found in a public register with a current status, from other licence holders. Checked October 21, 2026.
Irwin
The Curaçao licence validator confirms irwin.casino under OGL/2024/169/0146, status Active, and its terms name the operator. CAD accounts, over 7,000 games, and deposit, wager and loss limits in the account. See our Irwin review or the Irwin offer page.
FUGU
Same Curaçao licence, confirmed for fugu.casino. CAD accounts, over 10,000 games from 100+ providers and the same limit tools. Its terms refuse New Brunswick. See our FUGU review or the FUGU offer page.
Tonybet
Osauhing Tonybet and tonybet.com/ca are on the Kahnawake Gaming Commission's permit-holder list. Third parties list CAD and Interac e-Transfer for deposits and withdrawals, plus a sportsbook. See our Tonybet review or the Tonybet offer page.
All our Canadian reviews are on the casino reviews page.
Overall verdict
Casinostars scores well on our checklist: the Anjouan register lists its domain under a valid licence, third parties report CAD accounts, Interac deposits, a 10,000-game lobby, 24/7 chat and a set of limit tools. The cautions are specific. The company named on the licence and the company named by review sites differ. Interac is for deposits only. And the complaints, while moderate in number, are mostly about winnings that were not paid.
Responsible gambling
Third parties list deposit limits, time-outs from 24 hours to 30 days and self-exclusion; LCB adds bet, loss and session limits, while webopedia says loss limits are absent. We could not read the operator's page, so we score the tools as partial.
How the score is built
Every Canadian casino is scored on the same seven points, using facts checked on October 21, 2026:
- Licence: 1.2 of 1.2 (in the Anjouan register as valid, with the domain listed)
- Interac: 0.5 of 0.8 (third-party sources only, deposits only)
- Canadian-dollar account: 0.6 of 0.6 (third-party sources)
- Provinces: 0.5 of 0.5 (no restricted list read; nothing refused beyond Ontario and Alberta is known)
- Responsible gambling tools: 0.4 of 0.6 (some tools listed by third parties)
- Support: 0.5 of 0.5 (24/7 live chat in English, third-party)
- Complaints: 0.5 of 0.8 (moderate: 17 on Casino Guru)
Total: 4.2 out of 5.
Who it suits
Casinostars suits a casino-only player who deposits by Interac, has a separate withdrawal method ready, verifies early and withdraws regularly. The current offer is on the Casinostars offer page. 19+ (18+ in Quebec and Manitoba). Not available through SpinsPilot in Ontario or Alberta.

- Support: 0.5 of 0.5 (24/7 live chat in English, third-party)
- Complaints: 0.5 of 0.8 (moderate: 17 on Casino Guru)
Total: 4.2 out of 5.
