Tonybet is a casino and sportsbook with a long history: third-party sources date the business to 2003, when it launched as OmniBet, and to the Tonybet name since 2009. For Canada it runs more than one site. Players in the provinces and territories SpinsPilot Canada covers, which is everywhere except Ontario and Alberta, use tonybet.com/ca. Ontario has its own regulated site, tonybet.ca, and Alberta players are served by a separate product under an Alberta licence issued in 2026.
This review is written from research, with facts checked on October 21, 2026. One limit applies to everything below: Tonybet's own site would not load its content from our location, so we could not read its terms, cashier or help pages directly. What we could check ourselves is the licence register. Everything else comes from the third-party sources named in each section, and we say so each time. We did not open an account or place bets.
Tonybet at a glance
- Website for this region: tonybet.com/ca
- Operator: Osauhing Tonybet (OU Tonybet), Estonia
- Licence: Kahnawake Gaming Commission. Osauhing Tonybet and tonybet.com/ca appear on the Commission's list of interactive permit holders
- Canadian players: accepted on tonybet.com/ca
- Provinces: Ontario and Alberta are served on separate sites, not on tonybet.com/ca. No other province is named in anything we read
- Account currency: Canadian dollars (AskGamblers and rg.org, third-party)
- Interac: Interac e-Transfer named by rg.org (third-party)
- Games: 8,000+ casino games and 900+ live tables (gambling.com, third-party)
- Sportsbook: yes, 42+ sports (rg.org, third-party)
- Support: live chat and email; hours not confirmed
- Age: 19+ in most provinces, 18+ in Quebec and Manitoba
- Our rating: 4.0 out of 5
What works
- A licensee listed by name and web address in the Kahnawake register
- A dedicated Canadian site, with Ontario and Alberta handled separately
- Casino, live dealer and a sportsbook with NHL coverage under one account
- CAD accounts and Interac e-Transfer, according to third-party reviews
What to weigh
- We could not read the operator's terms, so withdrawal limits and the restricted-territory clause are unconfirmed
- AskGamblers complaints centre on withdrawals and repeat verification
- A fine from the UK Gambling Commission in January 2023, against the UK entity, is reported by third-party sources
- Support hours are not confirmed
Bonuses and promotions
Tonybet runs separate promotions for the casino and the sportsbook. Third-party reviews for Canada show welcome offers in Canadian dollars. Across the market, casino offers are usually deposit matches with free spins, and sportsbook offers usually come as bonus bets or deposit matches with their own rollover rules.
We do not print offer amounts, wagering multiples, minimum deposits, maximum bets or expiry dates in this review. Offers change, and the one you receive can depend on the site and the link you sign up through. The current casino and sportsbook offers, their wagering requirements and limits are on the Tonybet offer page, the one place we keep those numbers.
How to read a Tonybet casino offer
- Wagering: the number of times the bonus (or deposit plus bonus) must be bet before it can be withdrawn. As a worked example only, a $100 bonus at 35x means $3,500 in bets.
- Maximum bet: most offers cap the stake per spin while a bonus is active. Going over can void the bonus.
- Game weighting: slots usually count in full; table and live games often count less or not at all.
- Time limit: unmet wagering usually expires with the bonus, together with any winnings from it.
How to read a Tonybet sportsbook offer
- Rollover: bonus bet or deposit-match money usually has to be bet a set number of times before it can be withdrawn.
- Minimum odds: sportsbook offers commonly count only bets at or above a set price, often written in decimal. A minimum of 1.50 is -200 in American odds, so heavy NHL favourites may not count.
- Parlays: some offers require parlays with a minimum number of legs, or treat each leg's odds separately.
- Stake returned or not: a winning bonus bet usually pays the profit only, not the bonus stake.
Choose one welcome offer at sign-up, casino or sports, if the site asks you to. Taking the wrong one can tie your first deposit to the other product's rules. You can also play without a bonus; cash played without a bonus has no wagering attached.
Games, providers and sports betting
Casino
gambling.com (third-party, read October 20, 2026) counts more than 8,000 casino games and more than 900 live dealer tables at Tonybet. Pragmatic Play is the one studio named in the sources we used; we do not list others because we could not read the lobby ourselves. Tonybet publishes no site-wide payout percentage that we could read, so use the RTP shown inside each game's information panel.
We could not see the lobby, so we do not describe its categories, table limits or which live studios run the tables. Game availability can differ by country, so check that a title or table opens on a Canadian account before you build plans around it, especially for a bonus.
NHL betting at Tonybet
rg.org (third-party, updated July 15, 2026) lists more than 42 sports at Tonybet. For Canadian bettors that starts with hockey, so this section covers the NHL markets you will see and how to read the prices. The odds below are example prices to show how the formats work. They are not Tonybet's current odds.
Moneyline
You pick the team to win the game, overtime and shootout included. A favourite at -150 (1.67) means a $15 bet wins $10, so $25 comes back. An underdog at +130 (2.30) means a $10 bet wins $13, so $23 comes back. American odds show what you win on $100 (plus) or what you bet to win $100 (minus); decimal odds show the total return per $1, stake included.
Puck line
Hockey's point spread, almost always set at 1.5 goals. The favourite at -1.5 must win by two or more; the underdog at +1.5 covers if it wins or loses by one. A favourite that pays -150 (1.67) on the moneyline might pay +160 (2.60) on the -1.5 puck line, because the bet is harder to win. Empty-net goals decide many puck line bets late in the third period.
Totals
Over or under a set number of goals, often 5.5 or 6.5, priced near -110 (1.91) on each side. Check whether overtime and shootouts count; on most books the full-game total includes overtime.
60-minute line
A three-way bet on regulation time only: home win, away win or tie. Because a tie is a result, prices are longer than on the moneyline. It is common in Canadian provincial products and on offshore books alike.
Parlays
A parlay combines two or more picks; all must win. Multiply the decimal odds: legs at 1.67 and 2.30 give about 3.83, so a $10 parlay returns about $38.33. More legs mean a higher price and a lower chance of winning.
We have not verified whether Tonybet shows American odds by default, whether you can switch the format in your settings, or how deep its NHL markets go. Compare a few prices against another book before you settle on one. Our NHL betting guide and sports betting section explain these markets in more detail.
Payments and payout speed
We could not read Tonybet's cashier, so the methods below come from AskGamblers (third-party, read October 20, 2026), whose list is not split by country, and from rg.org. A method in this list may not be offered on the Canadian site; check the cashier after you register. Methods are listed in the order most Canadian players look for them.
Deposit methods
- Interac e-Transfer: named by rg.org; AskGamblers lists "Interac" without naming the variant. Our Interac e-Transfer guide explains how casino transfers work.
- iDebit: listed by AskGamblers
- MuchBetter: listed by AskGamblers
- Paysafecard and Neosurf (prepaid vouchers): listed by AskGamblers
- E-wallets: Skrill, Neteller, Payz, Jeton, MiFinity, PayPal, Perfect Money, Luxon Pay
- CashtoCode, Wise, Revolut, Trustly, bank wire: listed by AskGamblers; several of these are European methods that may not appear for Canadian accounts
- Crypto: Bitcoin, Litecoin, Ethereum, USDT and XRP, which AskGamblers marks as available in Canada excluding Ontario
- Visa and Mastercard: listed by AskGamblers. Several Canadian banks decline gambling transactions on credit cards or charge them as a cash advance. See our Canadian banks guide.
AskGamblers still lists instaDebit. InstaDebit closed in 2026, so it is not an option, whatever a list shows. Interac Online was retired in 2024. Flexepin is not mentioned by any source we used.
Withdrawal methods
AskGamblers lists the same methods for withdrawals except CashtoCode and Wise, including Interac, iDebit, Paysafecard and Neosurf. Voucher withdrawals are unusual, so treat that entry with caution until the cashier confirms it. Most casinos send withdrawals back to the method you deposited with where they can.
Payout speed and limits
We do not state a payout time for Tonybet. We could not read a published one from the operator, and third-party figures are not a reliable basis. A confirmed figure, when we have one, will be on the Tonybet offer page. Daily, weekly and monthly withdrawal limits are also unconfirmed: one third-party review prints them, but we only quote limits read in the operator's own terms.
Verification (KYC)
According to gambling.com (third-party), Tonybet asks for these before a withdrawal:
- a passport, driver's licence or national ID card
- proof of address
- proof of the deposit method
AskGamblers complaints also mention selfie checks. Repeat verification requests are one of the main complaint patterns (see Player feedback), so send clear, complete documents once, early, and keep copies. A legitimate casino does not need your Social Insurance Number.
Mobile experience
We keep this section to facts we could check, and for Tonybet those are few. The site builds its pages with scripts, and from our location only the page title loaded, so we have not seen the mobile layout, the cashier on a phone or the betting slip. None of the sources we used record a separate app for tonybet.com/ca, and we do not rate mobile speed or design here.
What matters on a phone:
- Use the right site. Tonybet runs a separate site for Ontario (tonybet.ca) and a separate product for Alberta. Players outside those two provinces use tonybet.com/ca. Check the address before you register, and do not install an app from a link in a message or ad.
- Live betting on a phone. Live prices move quickly in hockey. Check the confirmed price on the bet slip before you submit, and look for a setting that controls whether the slip accepts price changes.
- Verification. If the site asks for a selfie check, as AskGamblers complaints describe, it will use your phone's camera. Document photos should show all four corners.
- Limits. rg.org (third-party) lists deposit limits, session controls and self-exclusion. Set a deposit limit before your first deposit; it is easier than setting one later.
Player feedback
AskGamblers (third-party, read October 20, 2026) lists 22 complaints about Tonybet over about ten years. For an operator that has run since 2009, that is a modest number, but the pattern is consistent and it is about money:
- Withdrawals stuck in pending, sometimes for long periods
- Repeat verification requests, with documents asked for more than once, and selfie checks
- Accounts closed with a balance held, where the player and the operator disagree about whether rules were broken
Third-party sources also report a fine from the UK Gambling Commission in January 2023. It concerned Tonybet's UK entity, not the Canadian site, and we mention it because it is part of the operator's public record.
Customer support
rg.org (third-party) lists live chat and email. Support is in English. We could not confirm the hours or whether a phone line exists, so we score support as partial until we can.
If something goes wrong
Keep screenshots of the cashier and of any offer you accept, save chat transcripts, and note the date of every document you send. If support does not resolve a dispute, Tonybet's licence gives you a route: the Kahnawake Gaming Commission accepts player complaints about its permit holders. Independent services such as AskGamblers are a second route. If gambling has stopped being fun, our responsible gambling page lists help lines for every province and territory we cover.
How we researched this review
This review is written from research, not from play. We did not open an account, deposit or place bets. The facts were gathered on October 20 and checked again on October 21, 2026.
Sources we read
- Kahnawake Gaming Commission, list of interactive permit holders: the row "Osauhing Tonybet, https://tonybet.com/ca". The page states it was updated September 28, 2023, and does not show the permit type per row.
- gambling.com Canadian Tonybet review (third-party): operator location, launch history, game and live-table counts, KYC documents, licence number
- AskGamblers Tonybet review (third-party): currency, payment methods, complaint count and patterns
- rg.org "Is Tonybet legit in Canada" (third-party, updated July 15, 2026): province availability, Interac e-Transfer, sports count, support channels, responsible gambling tools
- igamingfuture.com (third-party): Tonybet's 2026 Alberta iGaming licence
What we could verify
- The Kahnawake register lists the operator by name with the address tonybet.com/ca
What we could not verify
- The operator's own pages. tonybet.com renders by script, and from our location only the page title loaded. Terms, cashier, help centre and responsible gambling page were not read.
- The licence number. gambling.com quotes 00902; the register shows company and address only, so the number is unconfirmed.
- Provinces refused. Ontario and Alberta come from rg.org and the separate regulated sites; the restricted-territory clause in the terms was not read.
- Withdrawal limits, payout times and support hours
- Whether instaDebit still appears in the cashier. It is still in AskGamblers' list, but the service closed in 2026.
- The current offers, which we keep on the offer page by design
We will read tonybet.com/ca from a Canadian connection, re-check these points and update the review and its score. Our method is on how we rate casinos, and how SpinsPilot is paid is on our affiliate disclosure.
Best alternatives to Tonybet
Three brands on our Canadian list that hold a licence we found in a public register. Two of them also run a sportsbook.
HitnSpin
Casino plus a sports section. Licensed by the Curaçao Gaming Authority, and listed in the Authority's registry dated October 20, 2026. The operator states 12,000+ games from 130+ providers, with live chat and email stated as 24/7. Casino Guru (third-party) lists 136 complaints, including verification and self-exclusion issues, more than Tonybet's record. See the HitnSpin offer page.
Thor
Casino and sportsbook, licensed in Anjouan; the register shows the licence as valid until January 30, 2027, with thorcasino.com on its domain list. Third-party reviews count about 6,000 titles from about 63 providers and describe 24/7 live chat. AskGamblers lists two complaints, both resolved. Interac is listed for deposits but not for withdrawals by AskGamblers. See the Thor offer page.
Mino
Casino only, no sportsbook. Licensed in Curaçao, with the licence shown as active on the Authority's certificate. Interac appears among the payment logos in the operator's own footer, and support is stated as 24/7. Few complaints so far, though the brand is new. See the Mino offer page.
All our Canadian reviews are on the casino reviews page, and every brand we list is on all casinos.
Overall verdict
Licence and safety
Tonybet's licence is one we could match to a register entry with the right company and the right web address: Osauhing Tonybet, tonybet.com/ca, on the Kahnawake Gaming Commission's list of permit holders. Two caveats, stated plainly. The register page is dated September 28, 2023, and it does not show a licence number, so the number 00902 quoted by a third-party review is unconfirmed. Tonybet also runs separate regulated products for Ontario and Alberta, which is consistent with what we read but means tonybet.com/ca is not the site for players in those provinces.
Responsible gambling
rg.org (third-party) lists deposit limits, session controls and self-exclusion. We could not read the operator's own page, so time-outs and reality checks are unconfirmed. Help lines for every province and territory we cover are on our responsible gambling page.
How the score is built
Every Canadian casino is scored on the same seven points, using facts checked on October 21, 2026:
- Licence: 1.2 of 1.2 (listed in the Kahnawake register with the operator's Canadian web address)
- Interac: 0.5 of 0.8 (third-party sources only)
- Canadian-dollar account: 0.6 of 0.6 (third-party sources)
- Provinces: 0.5 of 0.5 (nothing refused beyond Ontario and Alberta, which we do not cover)
- Responsible gambling tools: 0.4 of 0.6 (some tools listed)
- Support: 0.3 of 0.5 (channels known, hours unconfirmed)
- Complaints: 0.5 of 0.8 (moderate: a low count over ten years, but a consistent withdrawal pattern and a reported UK fine)
Total: 4.0 out of 5.
Our verdict
Tonybet suits a Canadian player who wants a casino and an NHL-focused sportsbook in one account, from an operator with a long track record and a licence we could find in a register. The score is held back mostly by what we could not read: the terms, the cashier and the support hours. The complaint record is modest in size but points at withdrawals and verification, so verify your account early and keep records. The current casino and sportsbook offers are on the Tonybet offer page. 19+ (18+ in Quebec and Manitoba). Not for players in Ontario or Alberta, who are served on separate sites.

- Heavy complaint record on Casino Guru, mostly withdrawals
