Vavada at a glance
Vavada is an online casino at vavada.com that third-party reviews date to 2017 and attribute to Vavada B.V. We found no separate Canadian site. This review is written for readers in Canada outside Ontario and Alberta, and every fact below was checked on October 21, 2026 against the source named beside it.
One limit applies to the whole review, and it is a large one. vavada.com returned an error with an empty page to every tool we used (HTTP 401), so we could not read the operator's terms, cashier, help pages, footer or licence link. Apart from the licence, which we checked on the regulator's certificate, every fact about Vavada below comes from third-party sources: Casino Guru, AskGamblers and cryptoslate. We name the source each time. Where none of them answers a question, we leave it open. We did not open an account or play.

Is Vavada legit?
Vavada has been running under the same name since 2017, by third-party accounts, and is covered by large review sites in several countries. That history counts for something, and the regulator's own certificate confirms its licence.
Casino Guru and cryptoslate both give Curaçao licence OGL/2024/252/0153, and cryptoslate gives it "for VAVADA.COM". On October 21, 2026 we opened the Curaçao Gaming Authority's certificate for OGL/2024/252/0153. It names Vavada B.V., shows the licence status as "Active" and lists one domain: vavada.com. We also checked the Authority's public warnings page: Vavada is not on it.
So, plainly: the regulator's certificate confirms an active Curaçao licence for vavada.com, the site this review covers. Our casino licences guide explains how to check a Curaçao licence yourself: scroll to the footer of the site, open the licence seal, and make sure the page it opens is on the Authority's own domain and names the site you are on.
Pros and cons
Pros
- Canadian-dollar accounts, according to three third-party sources
- 5,000+ games with a live casino, from studios including Evolution, Pragmatic Play and Playtech
- 24/7 live chat in English, according to Casino Guru
- Running under the same name since 2017
- An active Curaçao licence for vavada.com, confirmed on the regulator's certificate
Cons
- No source lists Interac
- Casino Guru complaints show a pattern of closed accounts and confiscated winnings
- The operator's own terms could not be read, so withdrawal limits and the province list are unconfirmed
Bonuses and promotions
Third-party reviews describe a welcome offer and ongoing promotions at Vavada. We could not read the operator's own promotions or bonus terms, and we do not print offer amounts, free-spin counts, wagering multiples, minimum deposits, maximum bets or expiry dates in this review in any case. Offers change often and can depend on your country, your currency and the link you sign up through. The current offer for Canadian players and its terms are on our Vavada offer page, the one place we keep those numbers.
Why the bonus terms matter more here
The most common complaint pattern for Vavada on Casino Guru is accounts closed and winnings confiscated, often with the operator citing a breach of its rules. We cannot judge individual cases. What we can say is that the bonus terms and the general terms are the rules any such decision rests on, and we could not read either. Read them in full on the site before you accept an offer, and keep a dated screenshot of the version you accept.
How to read a Vavada offer
- Wagering requirement: bonus money has to be bet a set number of times before it can be withdrawn. Check whether the multiple applies to the bonus alone or to the deposit plus the bonus. As a worked example only, a $100 bonus at 35x needs $3,500 in bets. Our wagering requirements guide has more examples.
- Maximum bet: bonus terms usually cap the stake per spin while a bonus is active. Going over the cap can void the bonus and its winnings, and it is a common reason given for confiscations.
- Maximum cash-out: some offers, especially free spins and no-deposit offers, cap what you can withdraw from bonus winnings.
- Game weighting: slots usually count in full; table and live games often count less, or not at all.
- Expiry: bonus funds and free spins expire if the wagering is not met in time.
- Multiple accounts: one account per person, household or device is a standard rule. Opening a second account is a common reason for closures.
Promo codes and no-deposit offers
If the current Canadian offer needs a code, the offer page shows it; if it needs none, the offer page says so. We list a no-deposit offer only when one exists for Canadian players, and we do not repeat codes we cannot confirm. Our no-deposit bonus guide explains how those offers usually work.
You can also play without a bonus. Cash played without a bonus carries no wagering and fewer rules to break by accident.
Games and providers
cryptoslate (third-party, updated October 13, 2026) counts 5,000+ games from 39 studios at Vavada; Casino Guru counts 53 providers. The two figures were likely taken at different times, and we use the range rather than pick one. We could not see the lobby ourselves, so we do not describe its categories or list individual titles.
Providers
The studios named by third-party sources include:
- Evolution
- Playtech
- Pragmatic Play
- NetEnt
- Play'n GO
- Hacksaw Gaming
- Nolimit City
These are long-established studios whose games appear at many licensed casinos. Game availability can differ by country, because studios license their titles market by market. NetEnt games in particular are restricted in parts of Canada at several casinos on our list. Check that a game opens on your account before you rely on it, especially to clear a bonus.
Live casino
Vavada has a live dealer section, according to third parties, with Evolution among the studios named. Evolution's tables typically include live blackjack, roulette, baccarat and game shows. We could not see which tables are open to Canadian accounts, their limits or whether any run in French.
Return to player (RTP)
We found no site-wide or audited payout percentage for Vavada. Use the RTP shown in each game's information panel. Some studios supply the same slot with different RTP settings, so a figure printed on a review site may not match the version a casino runs.
Sportsbook
The sources are unclear. cryptoslate does not mention a sportsbook. Casino Guru lists "Betting" and eSports betting among Vavada's game types without describing a sportsbook. We treat Vavada as a casino only until we can see the site. If NHL betting is part of your plan, our NHL betting guide and sports betting section cover the sportsbooks on our list.
Payments and payout speed
We could not read Vavada's cashier. The methods below come from two third-party reviews, read on October 21, 2026. Neither splits its list by country, and AskGamblers' list includes methods for markets outside Canada.
What Vavada takes, according to third parties
- Cards: Visa and Mastercard, for deposits and withdrawals (AskGamblers, cryptoslate)
- E-wallets: Skrill, Neteller, MuchBetter and Jeton, for deposits and withdrawals (AskGamblers); cryptoslate lists Skrill, Neteller and MuchBetter
- Mobile wallets: Apple Pay and Google Pay, for deposits (AskGamblers, cryptoslate)
- Crypto: Bitcoin, Ethereum, USDT, BNB, Tron, Litecoin, Solana, XRP, Dogecoin and USDC (AskGamblers)
- Bank wire and Rapid Transfer (AskGamblers)
AskGamblers also lists WebMoney, Piastrix, BLIK and SEPA, which serve other markets and are unlikely to appear for a Canadian account.
Interac
No source we read lists Interac or Interac e-Transfer at Vavada, and AskGamblers does not mention it anywhere in its payment lists. We do not know whether Interac appears for a Canadian account; on the evidence, it probably does not. If Interac is how you want to pay, our Interac casinos page lists casinos that show it on their own sites, and our Interac e-Transfer guide explains how casino transfers work.
iDebit, Flexepin, Paysafecard and Neosurf are not listed either. InstaDebit closed in 2026 and Interac Online was retired in 2024, so neither is an option.
What this means for a Canadian deposit
- Cards: several Canadian banks block gambling transactions on credit cards or charge them as cash advances, with interest from day one. Debit Visa and Mastercard cards are treated differently by some banks. Our Canadian banks guide covers this bank by bank.
- E-wallets: MuchBetter, Skrill and Neteller hold a balance between your bank and the casino. Check each wallet's own fees for loading in Canadian dollars.
- Crypto: transfers cannot be reversed. Check the wallet address and network twice.
Payout speed and withdrawal limits
We do not state a payout time for Vavada. We could not read a published one from the operator, and times printed by third parties are not a reliable basis. A confirmed figure, when we have one, will be on the Vavada offer page.
Withdrawal limits are also unconfirmed. Third parties print daily, weekly and monthly caps, but we only quote limits read in the operator's own terms, and we could not read them.
Verification (KYC)
According to cryptoslate, verification is not required at sign-up but can be requested at any time, including before a withdrawal. We do not know which documents Vavada asks for. Verification delays are one of the complaint themes below, so have clear photo ID and a recent proof of address ready, and keep copies. A legitimate casino never needs your Social Insurance Number.
Mobile experience
We keep this section to facts we could check, and for Vavada those are few. The site could not be read from our research location on any device, and none of the sources we used records a dedicated app. We do not rate mobile speed or design here.
What we can say is that Vavada is a website, and the support channels listed by third parties, live chat, email and Telegram, all work from a phone. These checks take a few minutes and are worth doing before your first deposit:
- Check the address. Make sure you are on vavada.com before you log in. Large brands attract look-alike sites, so do not follow links from messages, ads or unsolicited Telegram contacts. Install an app only from the App Store or Google Play, and only if the operator lists one there.
- Check the currency. Make sure the account is opened in Canadian dollars; currency is usually fixed at sign-up.
- Test the cashier. Confirm which payment methods appear for your account before you deposit.
- Open the terms. Make sure the general terms and the bonus terms open in full on your screen. Those are the pages we could not read, and they matter here.
- Set limits first. AskGamblers lists a cool-off period and self-exclusion. Your phone's own screen-time settings can add a limit the casino cannot change.
Player feedback
Complaint sites are the best public record of how a casino behaves when a withdrawal is disputed. We read Casino Guru and AskGamblers on October 21, 2026. We report patterns and counts, not individual claims, which we cannot verify.
Casino Guru: 94 complaints
Casino Guru lists 94 complaints against Vavada: 73 rejected and one open when we read it. The themes are:
- Accounts closed and winnings confiscated, the recurring pattern, in cases involving amounts such as €18,600, €8,365 and 85,000 zł
- Closures for alleged fraud, where the player disputes the finding
- Verification delays before a withdrawal
One Casino Guru user review also cites a blacklisting of Vavada by a Canadian review site. We could not confirm that listing.
AskGamblers: 11 complaints
AskGamblers lists 11 complaints. We report the count only.
What the pattern tells you
A rejected complaint can mean several things: the complaint service found the decision consistent with the operator's terms, the evidence was not enough, or the player stopped replying. Either way, the terms carry real weight at Vavada, and those are the terms we could not read. Three practical steps follow. Read the general and bonus terms in full before you deposit. Verify your account before you have a balance to withdraw. And keep one account, one payment method in your own name, and screenshots of anything you accept.
Customer support
Third parties list three channels:
- live chat, 24/7 in English (Casino Guru)
- email: support@vavada.net (cryptoslate)
- Telegram (cryptoslate)
We have not contacted support and do not rate response times.
If something goes wrong
Start with support and keep a written record of every exchange. If that does not resolve it, the Curaçao licence gives a route: the Curaçao Gaming Authority handles complaints about its licensees. Independent services such as Casino Guru and AskGamblers are a second route. If gambling has stopped being fun, our responsible gambling page lists help lines for every province and territory we cover.
How we researched this review
This review is written from research, not from play. We did not open an account, deposit or request a withdrawal at Vavada. The facts were gathered and checked on October 21, 2026.
Sources we read
- vavada.com: attempted with three different tools; every attempt returned HTTP 401 with an empty page, so no operator text was read
- Curaçao Gaming Authority public warnings page (cga.cw): Vavada not listed
- Curaçao Gaming Authority licence certificate for OGL/2024/252/0153 (cert.cga.cw): Vavada B.V., status "Active", domain vavada.com
- Casino Guru Vavada review (third-party): operator, licence, currencies, provider count, game types, support languages, launch year, complaints
- AskGamblers Vavada review (third-party): operator, currencies, deposit and withdrawal methods, responsible gambling tools, complaint count, launch year, affiliate programme
- cryptoslate Vavada review (third-party, updated October 13, 2026): licence "for VAVADA.COM", currencies, restricted jurisdictions, payment methods, game and studio count, KYC, support channels
What we could verify
- That the Curaçao Gaming Authority's certificate shows licence OGL/2024/252/0153 as active for vavada.com
- That Vavada is not on the Curaçao Gaming Authority's public warnings page
- That the three third-party sources agree on the operator name, the licence number, Canadian-dollar accounts and the 2017 launch year
What we could not verify
- Everything on the operator's own pages: terms, cashier, footer, help centre and responsible gambling page
- Which provinces are refused. cryptoslate names Ontario; its full list of restricted places sits behind a "Show More" link we could not expand, and Alberta is not named in the part we saw.
- Interac, withdrawal limits, payout times and the documents asked for at verification
- Whether there is a sportsbook
- The operator's address
- The current offers, which we keep on the offer page by design
We will try vavada.com again from a Canadian connection and update this review if the operator's own pages change any fact above. Our method is on how we rate casinos, and how SpinsPilot is paid is on our affiliate disclosure.
Best alternatives to Vavada
If the missing Interac or the complaint pattern holds you back, these three brands from our Canadian list each have Interac listed or a lighter complaint record, and a licence we found in a public register with a current status. We read at least part of each operator's own site or register entry. Each was checked on October 21, 2026.
Thor
Casino and sportsbook, licensed in Anjouan. The register shows the licence as valid until January 30, 2027, with thorcasino.com on its domain list. Third-party reviews list Canadian-dollar accounts, count about 6,000 titles from about 63 providers, including NetEnt, Pragmatic Play and Evolution, and describe 24/7 live chat. AskGamblers lists two complaints, both resolved, and lists Interac for deposits. See our Thor review or the Thor offer page.
Casinostars
Casino only, like Vavada as far as we can tell. The Anjouan register lists casinostars.io under a licence valid until January 30, 2027. Third-party reviews list Canadian-dollar accounts, more than 10,000 games and 24/7 live chat, with Interac for deposits only. Casino Guru lists 17 complaints, several about withheld winnings, and sources name different operators. See our Casinostars review or the Casinostars offer page.
FUGU
Casino and sportsbook. The Curaçao Gaming Authority's validator confirms fugu.casino under licence OGL/2024/169/0146 with the status "Active". The operator states over 10,000 games from more than 100 providers, Canadian-dollar accounts and 24/7 support. Casino Guru lists 8 complaints, nearly all about delayed withdrawals. Interac is in the platform's catalogue but not confirmed for Canada. See our FUGU review or the FUGU offer page.
All our Canadian reviews are on the casino reviews page, and every brand we list is on all casinos.
Overall verdict
Vavada is a long-running casino with a mainstream lobby of 5,000+ games, a live casino, Canadian-dollar accounts and 24/7 live chat, according to the three third-party sources we used. The Curaçao Gaming Authority's certificate confirms an active licence for vavada.com.
This verdict carries more uncertainty than most on our list, because we could not read a single operator page. Within what we could check, two points weigh against it: no source lists Interac, and Casino Guru's complaints show a repeated pattern of closed accounts and confiscated winnings.
Licence and safety
The Curaçao Gaming Authority's certificate for licence OGL/2024/252/0153 shows it active for vavada.com, checked October 21, 2026, and Vavada is not on the regulator's public warnings page. We score that as a licence confirmed in the register for the site this review covers. The operator's own site could not be read from our location, so the other facts in this review remain third-party.
Responsible gambling
AskGamblers (third-party) lists a cool-off period and self-exclusion. We do not know whether deposit limits, loss limits or reality checks exist. Check the account settings after you register, before your first deposit. Help lines for every province and territory we cover are on our responsible gambling page, and our self-exclusion guide explains blocking tools that work across sites.
How the score is built
Every Canadian casino is scored on the same seven points, using facts checked on October 21, 2026:
- Licence: 1.2 of 1.2 (Curaçao certificate active, with vavada.com listed)
- Interac: 0.2 of 0.8 (not listed by any source)
- Canadian-dollar account: 0.6 of 0.6 (three third-party sources)
- Provinces: 0.5 of 0.5 (nothing beyond Ontario and Alberta known to be refused; full list unread)
- Responsible gambling tools: 0.4 of 0.6 (cool-off and self-exclusion, third-party)
- Support: 0.5 of 0.5 (24/7 live chat in English, third-party)
- Complaints: 0.2 of 0.8 (heavy: 94 on Casino Guru, with a confiscation pattern)
Total: 3.6 out of 5.
Who it suits
Vavada suits a player who pays by card, e-wallet or crypto rather than Interac, plays in Canadian dollars, reads the full terms before accepting anything, and keeps to one account and one payment method in their own name. If Interac or a lighter complaint record is a requirement for you, start with the alternatives above. The current offer is on the Vavada offer page. 19+ (18+ in Quebec and Manitoba). Not available through SpinsPilot in Ontario or Alberta.
Vavada FAQ
Is Vavada legit?
Vavada has operated since 2017 under Vavada B.V., according to third parties. The Curaçao Gaming Authority's certificate shows licence OGL/2024/252/0153, held by Vavada B.V., as active for vavada.com, checked October 21, 2026.
Is Vavada legal in Canada?
Online gambling in Canada is regulated by each province. Vavada holds no provincial licence and operates from an international site. Third parties report that it accepts Canadian players outside Ontario. Ontario and Alberta run their own regulated markets, and Vavada is not offered to readers in those provinces through SpinsPilot.
Does Vavada accept Interac?
No source we read lists Interac at Vavada. Third parties list Visa, Mastercard, Skrill, Neteller, MuchBetter, Apple Pay, Google Pay and crypto.
Can I play in Canadian dollars at Vavada?
Yes, according to Casino Guru, AskGamblers and cryptoslate, which all list CAD as an account currency.
Why do players complain about Vavada?
The recurring theme on Casino Guru is accounts closed and winnings confiscated, often for alleged rule breaches or fraud. Most of those complaints were rejected by Casino Guru, which can mean the decision was found consistent with the terms. Read the terms in full before you play.
